Maintenance Tips
-
Regular Cleaning – Clean the faucet and filtration system regularly with a soft, damp cloth to prevent build-up of minerals, dust, or debris. Avoid using abrasive materials to protect the surfaces.
-
Replace Filters on Time – Change the filters as recommended by the manufacturer, typically every 6-12 months, to ensure clean, fresh water and to maintain the system’s performance.
-
Flush the System – After filter changes or if the system hasn’t been used for an extended period, flush the filtration system with water to remove any air or impurities.
-
Check for Leaks – Regularly inspect all connections for leaks. Tighten any loose fittings around the faucet and filtration system to ensure proper function and prevent water waste.
-
Descale as Needed – In areas with hard water, descale the faucet and filtration components periodically to prevent mineral build-up that can affect water flow and filtration quality.
-
Avoid Harsh Cleaners – Use gentle, non-abrasive cleaners only. Avoid harsh chemicals that can damage the faucet or filtration system’s materials.
-
Test Water Flow – Periodically test the water flow and filtration effectiveness. If the flow is reduced or the water quality deteriorates, check the filter or system for maintenance needs.
-
Monitor Filtration Performance – Keep track of any noticeable changes in water taste or odor, which may signal the need for a filter replacement or system check-up.
